How do I get into this 'generic RnB thing' I hear you ask..
Well Easy!
Go on a talent show! (yes 'talent') X Factor, Britains got 'Talent', or any American version of these show's.
If you go though this fase, then obviousley you will have to pretend to be American and sing Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey songs. And have a wobbley lip / voice (like that Mariah gal)
Oh yeah and win it
Your first song should be a droney sloppy ballad with cheesey lyrics (onto that later)
But a cover version of a credible (or not) musician will do fine. (REMEMBER! generic please!)
You may also want to take the root of featuring on a already established famous rapper - that'll do nicely.

Akon (he'll go on anything, he may even feature your song)
Tinchey Stryder (He's new in this collab game, e.g that song with her out Sugarbabez & her, I mean him from N'Dubz - having a 'z' in your name also seems to help)

Well, what you need to know is, you don't necciserly have write your own songs.
Getting someone else is a much easier way to get a *hit* and will devoid you of actually having any actual talent or opinion.
But if you to plan to venture into the whole 'writing your own lyrics' thing, then here are the rules...

Well, thats the easiest part!!
